UGC-NET June 2025 applications begin:

NTA opens registration portal, exam from June 21

Candidates can apply online until May 7: Exam to be held in 

CBT mode across India for 85 subjects

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official notification for the UGC-NET June 2025 examination. This exam plays a vital role in determining the eligibility of candidates for:

 Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
 Assistant Professorship
 Ph.D. Admissions in Indian universities and colleges

🧑‍🎓 Eligibility Criteria:

Academic Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized university with at least:
    • 55% marks for General/Unreserved candidates
    • 50% marks for OBC (NCL) / SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender

Age Limit:

  • JRF: Not more than 30 years as on June 1, 2025. (Age relaxation applicable for reserved categories)
  • Assistant Professor: No upper age limit
