Sridhar Vembu, the founder of Zoho Corp, has recently announced his step down from the position of CEO to transition into the role of Chief Scientist. This leadership change was made public through a post on X on January 27, 2025. In his new role, Vembu will focus on spearheading research and development (R&D) initiatives, particularly in light of the recent major developments in AI, alongside continuing his personal mission in rural development.
Zoho has appointed co-founder Shailesh Kumar Davey as the new Group CEO. Other leadership changes include Tony Thomas, another co-founder, leading Zoho's US operations, Rajesh Ganesan heading the ManageEngine division, and Mani Vembu overseeing the Zoho.com division.
