It offers access to 13,000 journals for Indian institutions.
The One Nation One Subscription scheme is set to transform access to quality higher education in India by improving research opportunities and supporting national goals such as Viksit Bharat @2047 and NEP 2020.
This initiative will empower students and researchers across the nation.
The Union Cabinet, chaired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has approved One Nation One Subscription, a new Central Sector Scheme for providing nationwide access to scholarly research articles and journal publications.
The scheme will be implemented through a simple, user-friendly, and fully digital process. This facility will be accessible to government higher education institutions and R&D laboratories under the central government.
A total of nearly Rs. 6,000 crore has been allocated for the Scheme for 3 calendar years, 2025, 2026 and 2027.
